PP764 Challenge Winners

Hello crafty friends!  Stef here to announce the winners of PP764. I want to thank everyone very much for playing along with my CAS challenge!! There were so many beautiful holiday cards, with many of you sharing wonderful details about why/how you chose your favorite holiday image, and all the while keeping things CAS.

Arlene's card with the beautiful dove and the word peace really spoke to me.  Her delicate and subtle shading, along with coloring only the banner and olive branch, created such a stunning CAS card.  Congratulations, Arlene, you're my Headliner this week!

PP764 - A Clean-and-Simple Challenge from Stef

Hello crafty friends, it's Stef welcoming you to a new CAS challenge at the Paper Players!  But before we get to that, I'd like to give a big thanks to everyone who played along with Jan's Color Challenge.  We had such a great gallery filled with gorgeous autumnal cards. And congrats to the winners!

Now onto our monthly Clean and Simple challenge.  I've chosen what I hope is any easy theme, especially given this time of year, which is to use a favorite holiday image on your CAS card.  Things like trees, menorahs, Santas, candles, ornaments/baubles, presents are some ideas.  Just remember to keep it CAS - limited layers and embellishments, plenty of "white" space, etc.

PP763 Challenge Winners

I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend! Jan here, and I'm delighted to announce the winners of this week's colour challenge.  Firstly, a huge thank you to all of you who played along with our challenge this week.  It was wonderful to see so many great cards in the gallery and I love seeing the various ways the same colours have been used to create such individual cards.

I couldn't stop thinking about this glorious autumn wreath set against the clean white background. It so clearly shows how Clean and Simple is often not that simple at all! From the watercoloured acorns, to the pretty die cuts and the artful arrangement of them, this card was gorgeous in every way. Congratulations, Lili, you're my headliner this week!
